چکیده
Salinity commonly affects photosynthesis and crop production worldwide. However, some studies have shown that hydrogen peroxide seed priming can increase the tolerance of plants to salt stress. In this context, study aimed test hypothesis H2O2 improve photosynthetic efficiency in sunflower under The experiment was conducted a completely randomized design, with four replicates. Six treatments were tested: control (deionized water); (100 mM NaCl); 0.1 (36 h) + 100 NaCl; 1 (24 10 (12 NaCl. Compared treatment, leaf, stem root dry mass stressed showed 73, 76, 71% reduction, respectively. effect less pronounced whose seeds primed H2O2. After five weeks, increased CO2 assimilation rate by 26%, instantaneous carboxylation 38%, potential quantum yield photochemical quenching photosystems II 22%, electron transport 43%, chlorophyll b content 71%. addition, it reduced non-photochemical parameters 22% compared treatment.
